Peter Simpson

Peter Simpson is a former governor’s fellow with the State of Connecticut’s Office of Workforce Strategy, where he conducted labor market research and supported underemployed and unemployed residents access high-growth and in-demand careers. He brings several years of experience working across the fields of higher education, research and workforce development, and translates research and policy goals into measurable, well-executed programs.

Previously he held applied research roles with Hanover Research, Rutgers University, and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), supporting governments in measuring outcomes, assessing cost-effectiveness, and advancing policy priorities. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Brown University (Providence, Rhode Island) and a master’s from Teachers College, Columbia University (New York, New York).
