Moatapari Agbere is a student at Cornell University, majoring in Biology. In high school, Moatapari served as a Class President, Former Vice President, and Secretary, later becoming Student Body President. She represented her peers in multiple organizations, serving as President of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), President of Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), and President of the Theater Department, while also participating in soccer. Her leadership extended into national competitions, including the FBLA Business Communications and Future Business Leader Competitions and the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) Aspirations in Computing Competition. Moatapari founded and led several impactful initiatives, including Rural Youth in Science, which expanded STEM access for students in underrepresented areas, The Schools Project, focused on improving educational outcomes, and a Schoolwide Tutoring Program that provided peer academic support. She also served as a Student Representative on the School District Board of Education, contributing to district-wide discussions on student achievement. Her additional activities included volunteer work with Feeding the Valley, participation in the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair as a Student Researcher, and contributions to Oppia Online Education as a Teacher. Through her extensive leadership, academic engagement, and community service, Moatapari demonstrated a strong commitment to education, science, and student empowerment.
